Rob joined Perion after the acquisition of Undertone in 2015. Previously, Rob served as Undertone’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Business Development. He led the company’s transformation into a diversified media and technology platform through strategic acquisitions, expansion into mobile and video products, and the build out of programmatic marketplace capabilities. Today, Undertone is the leading provider of high-impact digital advertising solutions to brands, agencies, and publishers.
Prior to Undertone, Rob was the Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at The Topps Company. Before Topps, he was a management consultant at Bain & Company, serving clients in the media and entertainment, consumer goods, and industrial industries. Rob has also held strategy and operating roles at PepsiCo and IBM. Rob received an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College in Government, where he was elected a Class Marshall and awarded a Finley Fellowship.
Mike joined Undertone from Apple, Inc., where he held key sales management roles for Apple Music and iAd. He previously held executive-level positions at Cumulus Media and Citadel Broadcasting, overseeing national and network sales.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University and resides in New York City with his wife and son.
Michael joined Undertone from Perion Networks, where he was the Chief Strategy Officer and head of corporate development. He previously was CEO and co-founded INTEAD and Chief Financial Officer of American Greetings’s digital divisions. Earlier in his career he managed a venture capital fund in Central Asia and worked for Ernst & Young.
Michael is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and holds a Masters Degree from Johns Hopkins University (SAIS). Originally born in Germany, he has lived and worked on three continents but now resides in New York City with his wife and two sons.
A respected industry leader, Eric has been featured in publications including Ad Age, Adweek and The Wall Street Journal, and on stages worldwide including IAB MIXX, Advertising Week and Cannes. He has held a place on the board of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) for several years, helping guide the digital advertising industry through a period of rapid growth and change.
As co-founder of Undertone, Eric helped the company grow from a boot-strapped startup in 2001 to a highly-profitable ad network. The company pivoted to become the leader in high-impact digital advertising solutions for brands, agencies, and publishers, and was successfully acquired by Perion (NASDAQ: PERI) in 2015.
Eric began his career in digital in the industry’s early days as a sales executive for About.com. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University. He serves as an angel investor for multiple technology companies. In 2015, he started his highly influential newsletter The IO, which hosts a weekly roundup of the most
important news in advertising technology of digital media.
Chris holds a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University, an MBA from DePaul University, and currently resides in Chicago with his wife and children.
